Operated with a highly educated staff of nine people, Kari Ryan Dentistry has matched its growth with that of the East Cooper area. “Everyone in the office loves people and enjoys taking care of people,” shared Dr. Kari Ryan, a graduate of Michigan State University and the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in Charleston. “Our staff is well-trained, highly technical but personable. We continue to stay on top of our education to give the patient the best information and dental care.” Dr. Kristi Dillard, an associate at Kari Ryan Dentistry, is a graduate of the College of Charleston and the MUSC College of Dental Medicine. She also served as an instructor in the College of Dentistry at Ohio State University. “I enjoy serving patients of all ages and am committed to delivering quality dentistry to patients,” she stated. Patients of all ages are welcome at Kari Ryan Dentistry, as the staff is highly capable of caring for many different oral-health needs and always providing individualized care. Teeth whitening, dental implants, same-day crowns and cosmetic dentistry are a few of the many services they provide beyond biannual cleanings. The technology known as CEREC allows Dr. Ryan and her staff to provide beautiful, strong crowns in one appointment. “Our philosophy is to provide treatment to the whole person, with a special focus on how your teeth and gums relate to your total body health. We want you to be confident that your smile achieves your goals for comfort, function and appearance. We’re here to make that happen,” said Dr. Ryan. At Kari Ryan Dentistry, patients both long-established and brand-new to the practice always remain the primary focus. “We have a two-hour new-patient appointment where we get to know the patients’ wants and needs. We then go through their mouth and educate them on what we see,” explained Dr. Ryan. “We allow our patients to choose their path of oral health and treatment.” Each patient garners a warm welcome and personalized attention as this patient-centered office embodies its role as neighbors. New patients are generally seen within a couple of weeks.
